Avialogs is an online aviation library. It was started 2 years ago as a personal project and is now a not for profit organization based in Canada. Our goal is to promote conservation of aviation related literature and documents, make it available as electronic media.
Avialogs is a library. We do not sell books and all documents are distributed for research and personal uses only.
As you pay a member card to access your local library, we require you to pay a member fee to access our collections. You can probably find our documents for free on the web but at the expense of long search and time spent with the risk to have our pdf infected by malicious code. Avialogs wants to be a central repository for aviation related literature.
Running Avialogs has a cost and we don't want advertising on the site.
Current cost are :
- Server hosting: $2000/year - Software support: $600/year - Book acquisitions: $10000/year - Scanners, etc: $1500/year
Avialogs is not a concurrent to aviation bookshop or aircraft manufacturer. If you are looking for up to date information, a specific book, the best choice is to go to your favourite store or aircraft dealer.
